A little bit about us

Raton Pass Camp & Café is conveniently located off Interstate 25 at the top of Raton Pass between Trinidad, Colorado and Raton, New Mexico. Easy access from either the northbound or southbound lanes is accessed by Exit 460. See our Directions page. Whether stopping for a restful overnight or an extended visit we have the perfect site for your RV or tent. You will love our competitive rates.

There are panoramic views of the Sangres de Cristo Mountains, Bartlett's Mesa and Raton Valley. Our view starts at Savage Canyon which is home to pinion pine, ponderosa pine and Gamble Oak. Our wildlife neighbors include black bears, mountain lions, elk, mule deer, wild turkeys and hummingbirds. Our sunrises and sunsets take our breath and fill our guest’s memory cards. Some days we know the pot of gold is close by when the rainbow’s end is within arm’s reach. A short walk will allow you to view where the Mountain Branch of the Santa Fe Trail crosses Historic Raton Pass.

You'll love our level, big rig friendly sites including true 50 amp electrical service. Whether you desire an easy pull through or back-in with a million dollar view we have the perfect site. Enjoy our sparkling clean shower and laundry house, gathering room, free WIFI, seasonal café, store, covered patio.
